TAKE II Drama Club presents: The 39 Steps - October 6-7th
Marching Band Needs Volunteers & Donations!
Mission Statement:
Sussex Central Centre for the Visual & Performing Arts aims to promote and foster opportunities for creative expression, performance, and connection throughout the wider community. Through academic and experiential learning, we serve the students of Sussex Central High School in their pursuit of well-rounded, cultured, and intellectually and emotionally informed citizenship.
Vision:
The Centre for Visual & Performing arts endeavors to mold collaborative, confident, and caring individuals who will maintain a lifelong appreciation and participation in the arts. Students are not all expected to pursue professional aspirations of the arts but instead simply continue to enjoy them in some capacity.
Values:
The educators and coordinators within the Sussex Central Visual and Performing Arts department value:
Critical and analytical thought to create an informed understanding and enduring curiosity;
Individual growth to nurture the development of the whole person;
Artistry to enable appreciation and expression through creativity and innovation;
Diversity to cultivate global awareness and respect for differing perspectives and
Community to connect people through engagement, service, and collaboration within and beyond high school.
